Washtenaw Together as One Community: Leading, Connecting, Learning for Equity.
A Remote Learning Plan and Shared Agreements These shared agreements were identified by Washtenaw County educational leaders from the nine public school districts, the intermediate school district and the county educational consortiums to capture the core learning values and practices that are important during the school building closure due to COVID-19 and beyond. These agreements will be used to focus our shared efforts across districts during the time when we are providing remote learning to our students, and as a tool to remind us about what is most important in our work as system leaders. We are intentional in leaning heavily on practices that are inclusive, equitable and socially just so that we meet the needs of our students in wholistic, meaningful and engaging ways. |
Professional LearningShifting to a remote learning environment for teaching and learning requires some new tools, techniques and routines for teachers. These virtual learning webinars, courses and networks will help county teachers make the transition.
County Action TeamsIn an effort to stay true to our commitment to engage the people we are serving, we have formed county action teams for our various efforts to support districts during the school building closures.
