The Michigan Center for Accomplished Teaching (MICHCAT) is committed to advancing teaching as a profession. We believe accomplished teachers strive to meet high and rigorous standards set forth by The National Board for Professional Teaching Standards.

Our goal is to improve the quality of teaching in Michigan by increasing the number of National Board Certified Teachers in Michigan. We offer support for teachers seeking National Board certification.
