The Intel Math project is aimed at deepening teacher's content knowledge of math skills in order to improve instruction. The work consists of 80 hours of Intel Math training in the summer, and monthly continued learning in Math Learning Community meetings throughout the year. Entering our third year of providing professional development in Intel Math, we are able to provide opportunities to a new cohort of 25 teachers, and a continuing PLC for up to 25 teachers going on to facilitate this work in their own and other's districts.
In our first two years of participating in this program, we have worked with over 100 teachers across five districts from both Livingston and Washtenaw Counties.
