LIVE Meeting Dates

These meetings are intended for members of the Assessment Literacy Teacher Network. For the 2020-21 School Year, all meetings will be whole network (instead of by cohort). Please use our Google Classroom space to access more information as well as additional materials.

Book Study: Grading for Equity
Join fellow educators to deepen your understanding of how traditional grading practices inhibit equity in our schools and disempower students and teachers. Identify ways in which you can change your own practices and policies to be more just and promote learner agency. Participants should come to each session having read the assigned chapters. *Books available for pick up in Ann Arbor mid-January.

Socially Just Assessment & Grading (series)
Join other educators committed to social justice to consider how our current assessment and grading practices uphold unjust systems? Come to learn more about how you can use assessment and grading to begin to push on the system and create more socially just classrooms and schools. This series includes both a 1 hr self-paced as well as a 2 hr LIVE component for each session.
