Action Teams
In an effort to follow the Equity Policy at Washtenaw ISD, respond to the Justice Leaders Call to Action and Recommendations, and to live in to our commitment to equity, six action teams were established to support our transition to remote education now and into the future.

Instructional Planning

Purpose: Establish shared agreements across districts in preparation for learning, now and in the future.
Lead: Naomi Norman

Communication

Purpose: Share information and resources across districts.

Mental and Emotional Health

Purpose: Establish learning and technical support for mental health professionals
Lead: Holly Heaviland

Creative Approaches to Learning

Purpose: Creatively explore options for learning that are project and community based.

Professional Learning

Purpose: Identify and coordinate professional development related to teaching in a remote learning environment.
